Simply Adorable

Oh.My.God. You won't believe how amazing this child in the supermarket was today. I was traveling up the cereal aisle when I was stopped in my tracks by something simply adorable(see title, lol). A man had his cart parked long ways across the aisle to allow for myself and several others to get a great view of the baby seated in front basket, we had to fan out with our own carts in order get really close. Now, the infant was wearing just diapers and get this, nothing else! That's right, and if that wasn't enough the baby was shaking his right AND his left arm. But not without good reason, see the father had a box of cereal in each hand and he was asking the lil' guy which one he wanted! Now i'll be darned if the angel could decide, but he knew that he wanted one of them.
"Whichy-one?Thisy-one?Disy-one?huh?Thisy-one?" The father kept asking, and the baby did not know, just couldn't decide. It looked for a minute like he liked the one on the right, but then he seemed to point with his left fingers to the other box. Ohhh, for a minute I thought that he was going to just pick both. The father kept asking again and again and wouldn't you know it, I started to help too.
"Thisy-one?" I said. "Thisy-one?" The baby still had trouble deciding so I helped even more. "Thaty-one, he want thaty-one." I made myself chuckle a bit and the lil' heart bandit just joined right in. And did the father mind my help? Not at all. He laughed and said that the baby just couldn't decide. I laughed and said that I knew. It was sooooooo precious! A huge line of people had formed behind us and they were anxious. I think that they all wanted to see the baby and help too! By this time I was just as unsure of which box to choose as the grocery cart cutie was! The father shook the blue box and I think that really helped in the decision making process.
"Thaty-one!" I cooed. It turned out that he did want that one cause the father put the box right next to him. I started to tell the father that he had chosen 'thaty-one' but I don't know if he heard me since he had bent down to pick up oranges that the little devil was tossing out of the cart. Turns out he was just a pint sized pitcher after all. Toooooo Much!
